High School Photojournalism Program 

Medfield High School, here’s your opportunity to get your work published in the Boston Globe!

 

Globe Schools is offering a high school sports photojournalism program, with sign-ups now open for the 2026-27 school year. This unique program, the only one of its kind in the United States, is a fun and free opportunity for any student at any Massachusetts high school.

 

The program is led by John Vitti, a longtime member of the Boston Globe sports department and founder of the Headliners in Education journalism nonprofit. Last year, nearly 200 students from more than 115 schools participated, contributing almost 1,900 photos that showcased a wide variety of sporting events.
